Tour Itinerary
  • Day 01:

    Chandigarh- (114.5 km) 4 Hour Journey 

    Arrival at Chandigarh meet and greet our representative and drive to Shimla .Arrival at shimla Check in at hotel after fresh up visit the sightseeing of local markets like Lakkar bazar mall road church tibitiyan markets and after Dinner overnight stay in Shimla hotel.

  • Day 02:

    Shimla to Sarahan 

    First day of the long ride starts from Shimla to Sarahan 2,313 metres (170 Kms / 8-9 hrs). A pleasant village sarahan in the suburb of Shimla city. Overnight stay in a hotel.

  • Day 03:

    Sarahan to Sangla 2680 Meters (87kms/4-5hours) 

    Post breakfast, and after visiting Bhima kali temple where human sacrifices were used to be done centuries ago, we will start our 87 km trek to Sangla, which will take about 4 hours. We‟ll move from Sarahan to Jeori, walking along the Sutlej River, crossing the Indo-Tibetan border road, will enter the Kinnaur Valley and a turn will take us to beautiful Baspa Valley. By late afternoon we will reach sangla village via an 18 km narrow winding road with exciting gorges and cliffs of Baspa River. It is also known as Baspa Sangla valley owing to the Baspa River flowing through the valley. Overnight stay in Sangla.

  • Day 04:

    Sangla to Chitkul (3,450 matres 40/kms- 3-4 hours) 

    After breakfast, drive to Kalpa . Today starts with a short ride to Chitkul village, the last quaint village on the Indian Border with Tibet and offers great views. After lunch continue to recongpeo, a village in kalpa known for its apricots and apples. Overnight stay in hotel

  • Day 05:

    Kalpa– Nako - Tabo 3280 Meters (145kms/6-7hours) 

    Post breakfast we will begin our journey of 145 kilometers that would take 6-7 hours. You‟ll see change in the surroundings as the greenery will give way to rocky brown terrains. When we reach Akpa/Spello village, our inner line permits will be checked at a police check post. Another 35 kms will take us to the meeting point of Sutlej and Spiti Rivers. From here, we will take the trail along the Spiti River to reach Nako, a beautiful village near Nako Lake (3600 m). After lunch, we will be visiting Buddhist monasteries that follow guru Padmasambhawa (a great Buddhist scholar, whose teachings spread to Tibet from India as well). We will also be taking a trip to Nako Lake, first of many high altitude lakes that you‟ll be visiting on this trip. Continue our drive to Tabo. Night stay in Tabo.

  • Day 06:

    Tabo – Dhankar – Guling – Pin Valley - Mud 3600 Meters (160kms/6-7 hours) 

    What could be better than starting your day with none other than “Ajanta of the Himalayas”? Yes, you read it right, the magnificent preserve of Buddhists' legacy in Spiti Valley, the Tabo monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in the region. It has a series of 9 Temples, 23 Chortens, a Monk‟s Chamber and amazing galleries of stucco statues, wall paintings dated back in 996 AD. Learn more about the Buddhist culture and the intrinsic architect with your visit to Dhankar. A short trek to Dhankar Lake would not only be refreshing and energetic, it would also be the best option to test your fitness level high in the Himalayas and overnight stay in pin valley Mud village.

  • Day 07

    Mud – Kaza – Hikkim – Comic – Langza - Kaza 3600 Meters (100kms/5-6 hours) 

    Today after breakfast you will move towards Kaza. Now we will visit the historical villages of Kaza. Komic is not only the village that is the highest in Asia but also considered as the highest village in the world with a motor-able road. Angyud monastery is one of the two monasteries left in Spiti Valley of Sakya sect and is situated in Komic. Hikkim village is famous for having the highest post office and polling station in the world. After sometime we will continue our journey to Langza village. You can also see prehistoric marine fossils in Langza. A long ago this region was completely submerged in the water. That‟s why it is also referred to as „Fossil Village‟. Also, you‟ll see the oldest statue of Lord Buddha which is almost 100 years old. Langza is a small village with a population of mere 160 people and 30 homes. They prefer farming of potatoes and green peas during summer and depend of a glacier for their water needs. You‟ll get to interact with these simple individuals during our home stay at the Langza village. Since old times is mud craft. This whole region was once under water, so in Langza, you can scout around for prehistoric marine fossils. It‟s also known as the „Fossil Village‟. You will also see the oldest Lord Buddha statue about 1000 yr old. The water that reaches Langza comes from a Glacier about 14 km away. After that we‟ll come back to Kaza via a thrilling drive through a narrow and high road and it offers a beautiful sight of mountains in Spiti valley. We will stay in a guest house in kaza for the night.

  • Day 08

    Kaza – Key- Kibber – Chandra Tal 4205 Meters (106kms/ 5-6 hours) 

    Starting early on our 7th day of traveling across the Trans-Himalayas region, we walk around Kaza, the administrative headquarter of SpitiValley which has a marketplace, hotels, home stay and highest fuel station in the world. After breakfast, we drive our way through the Kibber village, the 2nd highest village in the world located at 4270 meters respectively. While the roads are rugged, your soul will be filled with the adrenaline ecstasy of travelling in the toughest yet the most beautiful terrain in the world all the way to the last destination of the day, the beautiful Moon Lake ChandraTal. Today we will cross KunzumPass(4590M). An overnight stay at the camps at ChandraTal Lake will mark the end of a day-long adventure.

  • Day 09

    Chandra Tal – Atul tunnel- Manali 2050 Meters (140kms/ 6-7 hours) 

    We‟ll be starting early to begin the journey of 6-7 hours with a few stops and lunch break. We will be going through the high mountain pass of eastern Himalayan range, the Rohtang pass which is at altitude of 3,978meters. We will reach Manali in the evening. Night Stay in Manali.

  • Day 10

    Manali-Rohtang Pass - (Snow Point) Rohtang Pass is Based on National Green Tribunal (NGT) Permission 

    Today morning after breakfast, leave for a snow point along the Rohtang Pass on the way to Solang Valley , Kothi Village , Rahla fall ,Palchal ,Marhi. Carry warm clothes like hand gloves, muffler, sweater, shawl, socks & sports shoes etc. Enroute overcoats and shoes are available on hire. Please note that Rohtang Pass (altitude 3940 mts.) is actually 51 kms. far from Manali, due to heavy snow covering the road, this pass is not accessible for almost 8 months leave for Snow Point, Full day to enjoy at this beautiful point. Night stay in Manali

  • Day 11

    Manali Manikaran Chandigarh by Cab (307km ) 8-9 hour Journey
